Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties

The bach trip you've been Pinterest-pinning.

Dance-floor-sized pool deck. Hot tub for ten. Separate suites so the 1 AM crew doesn't wake the 7 AM yoga crew. Beach two minutes away. South Padre Island, sleeping all 36 of you under one roof.

Why the bach trip ends up at Athena Ares.

Bach weekends fail at the lodging step. Two Airbnbs across town means half the crew misses every group photo. A hotel block means quiet hours and a bored bride. Athena Ares is the goldilocks option: 36 of your closest friends in one private property with the pool deck and the room you actually wanted.

What it includes

Designed for a great group weekend.

Big pool, big hot tub, big enough kitchens to prep brunch for the crew, big enough courtyard to set up the photo wall, the balloon arch, and the playlist speaker. And small enough suites that the people who go to bed early actually get to sleep.

  • Sleeps up to 36 across 6 private suites — bridal party, family, friends all on-site
  • Heated pool and oversized hot tub — pool day starts at 9 AM and ends when you say so
  • Poolside grill kitchen for the brunch spread
  • Six full kitchens for the mimosa station, the snack station, and the morning-after
  • Travertine floors and granite counters — the photo backdrops are already there
  • Two-minute walk to the Gulf for the sunset beach photo
  • Beach gear delivery available (umbrellas, chairs, kayaks)
  • Free on-site parking for the party-bus or rental SUVs

The details

Sleep, party, and how to keep both happy.

The trick to a 24-person bach trip is sleep architecture. With six independent suites, you can put the bride + bridesmaids in one suite (or two), the early-risers in another, the late-nighters in a third, and the friends-of-friends who came for one night in a fourth. Everyone's happy because everyone has a door to close.

  • Photographer for golden-hour beach photos and pool-deck candids

Logistics

Pricing, deposit, and what to know.

Bach trips are full-property buyouts with a standard refundable security deposit. The event addendum spells out the obvious stuff (no glass on the pool deck, music down by 10 PM, no smoking inside). We're not strict for the sake of being strict — these rules keep the property nice for the bride after you. The deposit is typically released within a week of check-out.

Frequently asked

The questions we get the most.

Can we have decorations and a balloon arch?

Yes — go for it. We just ask you take the decor down before check-out and bag the trash.

Are amplified speakers and music allowed?

Yes, until 10 PM at outdoor / pool-deck volumes; after 10 PM keep it inside the suites and at conversational levels. SPI has a noise ordinance and the neighbors do call.

Can we hire a private chef for brunch?

Definitely. Several local private chefs do brunch services for bach groups; we'll share names during inquiry.

Is there a curfew or quiet-hours problem?

Quiet hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. Inside the suites you can do what you want; outside on the courtyard, music down.

Can the bride's family stay too?

Yes — that's the whole point of having six suites. Put the family in one set, the friends in another. Everybody has space.

Do you charge a damage deposit?

Yes — a refundable security deposit is held during your stay. Most groups get the full amount back. If something breaks, we charge actual cost.
