You're directly across the street from the beach — leave the flip-flops by the door and walk to the Gulf in two minutes flat. Sea Turtle Inc., the South Padre Island Birding & Nature Center, and the SpaceX viewing area are short drives away. Brownsville–South Padre Island International is 32 minutes south by car, and Harlingen Valley International is about 45 minutes north.
