Most teams that book us are 12–24 people for a 3–4 night working retreat: kickoff dinner the first night, mornings for working sessions, afternoons for whitespace and team building, evenings for shared meals. The property has the bones to make all four happen well.

The details
Meeting space and breakouts.
We're not a conference center, but we work for working retreats. Each suite's living room comfortably seats 6–8 for a breakout. The largest single space is the open courtyard / poolside seating area, which works for an all-hands of up to ~30 standing or 20 seated at long tables. Bring your own portable monitors / projector if you need them; we have ample power outlets and stable Wi-Fi.

We have local relationships that take the planning load off:
- Caterers who deliver, set up, and clean up on weeknights and weekends
- Coffee + breakfast catering for the morning sessions
- Group transport from BRO and HRL airports if your team is flying in
- Beach gear delivery (chairs, umbrellas, kayaks) for the team-building afternoon
- Photographers if you want professional team photos for the website
- Off-site activity coordinators (kayak tours, sandcastle classes, sunset cruises)
Logistics
Pricing, billing, and contracts.
Whole-property buyouts are billed as one transparent rate. We can invoice your finance team with your business name, EIN, and PO line item rather than personal credit card if needed. Standard event addendum applies for groups; we send it during inquiry. Most teams book 2–4 months out for off-site weekends; tighter timelines work too if dates are open.

The questions we get the most.
Can you invoice us instead of charging a card?
Yes — for company bookings, we issue an invoice to your finance contact with full company billing details. Payment by ACH, wire, or card is fine.
Is the Wi-Fi really fast enough for video calls?
Yes — confirmed by the dozens of remote teams who've worked from the property. Each suite is on the same property network. If you're running a hybrid town hall with 50+ remote viewers, let us know and we'll spec it out.
How does it work for hybrid team events?
Many teams use Athena Ares as the in-person hub of a hybrid event — the courtyard and a few suite living rooms become broadcast spaces. We can help with backdrop and lighting recommendations.
Can we host a client event onsite during our stay?
Generally yes, with prior arrangement. Tell us during inquiry.
Do you provide whiteboards, projectors, or AV?
We don't, but we have a local rental relationship for AV gear that delivers and picks up onsite.
What's the cancellation policy for corporate bookings?
Standard whole-estate booking terms apply. For corporate clients, we sometimes adjust terms in the event contract — ask during inquiry.
